Shimamura – a retailer with 1200 super market stores, and our first customer to adopt the direct logistics model in 2002 experienced a 35% cut in logistics cost cut. Yixing is one of the first companies in china to propose direct logistics and successfully implemented it.
Shimamura acknowledges that quality inspection combined with direct logistics benefited its business by shortening lead time, increasing product quality and decreasing logistics cost. Now shimamura is requiring all its suppliers to adopt direct logistics model.
